WHO I AM
I work with people who want deeper contact with themselves and their lives.
My path into therapeutic work began with a curiosity about people, relationships and how we can move away from feeling that we need to fix ourselves and toward learning to be with what is. Through my own work with myself, it became clear to me how much it can mean to be met with presence, authenticity and space to be who you are, even when what is present feels difficult.
That experience has shaped the way I work today. In therapy, I meet you as a person, with calm, clarity and respect for your pace. Together, we explore what is there, rather than trying to push it somewhere specific.
For me, therapy is a place where you are allowed to pause, be curious about yourself and discover new ways of being in your life. Not because you need to become someone else, but because there may be room for a little more space to be you.
THE THERAPY
I work calmly and exploratively, with respect for your pace and for what emerges in the space between us.
In therapy, I am not concerned with quick solutions. I am concerned with understanding what is actually happening in you and in the relation between us. We pause, sense and explore what shows itself along the way.
Therapy can be a place where you have the opportunity to look more closely at yourself and what is happening in your life. A space where, together, we can separate things out, notice what is otherwise easily overlooked, and explore what is genuinely true and important for you.
EXPERIENCE
For many years, I have worked with people who find themselves in periods of change, unease or difficult life circumstances.
This experience has given me a deep understanding of the processes people can be in, whether it concerns relationships, self-worth, life crises or the wish to find a clearer direction in life.
In recent years, I have worked with clients in both individual sessions and group settings, with a focus on personal development, relational patterns and greater self-awareness.
My work is supported by ongoing supervision with experienced therapists. This is an important part of therapeutic work and contributes to professional reflection, responsibility and continued development.
I have worked with young people in complex life situations, where relational work, clarity and safe contact are essential for well-being and development.
Experience from a setting where people are in vulnerable life situations, and where stability, respect and human support are essential.
I continue to volunteer with CSM Øst, supporting adults affected by difficult experiences earlier in life, as part of an interdisciplinary professional environment focused on support and human dignity.
BACKGROUND
Since 2021, I have been part of the multi-year Gestalt therapy training at the Gestalt Institute of Scandinavia. The training combines theoretical teaching, practical training and in-depth personal development.
The training takes place in English in an international learning environment. I offer sessions in both Danish and English.
I have chosen to continue the training programme towards 2027, where I continue to deepen my work with Gestalt therapy, relational work and therapeutic practice.
A central part of the training consists of extensive work with my own process, including many hours of therapy and supervision. This is an important part of being able to meet other people responsibly, with presence and authenticity in the therapy room.
The training includes ongoing practical training in therapeutic conversations, process work and work with relationships, emotions and bodily experiences. As part of my training, I offer sessions at a more accessible price until my final year, where I work with experienced therapists with many years of experience.

FOCUS AREAS
In therapy, I work with many different life themes. Some people come with a specific challenge, while others simply sense that something in life no longer feels right.
Here are some of the areas I often work with together with my clients.
When your thoughts are going round in circles, or the body feels constantly tense.
When doubt about your own worth takes up space, or when it is difficult to sense what is truly right for you.
When patterns repeat in close relationships, or when it is difficult to say no without guilt or shame.
Periods where life changes, and you need a place to explore direction, choices and meaning.
When the wish is not only to solve a problem, but to understand yourself more deeply and live more in alignment with what feels right.
Experiences that continue to affect your relationships, self-esteem or sense of safety in life.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Gestalt therapy is an experiential form of therapy where we work with thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and relationships.
In some forms of therapy, the focus is mainly on understanding problems through conversation. In Gestalt therapy, we also work with what is happening here and now, in the body and in the contact between people. This can give you a more direct experience of your own patterns, feelings and needs.
Gestalt therapy is therefore not only about talking about life, but also about becoming more aware of what happens within you while we talk.
Some people seek therapy because they are facing a specific challenge, for example in a relationship, a life crisis, stress or a situation that feels difficult to handle alone.
Others come because they sense a more diffuse restlessness, doubt or a feeling of being stuck in certain patterns in their life.
Whether you come with a clear issue or simply a sense that something in your life is asking for attention, therapy can be a place where you have time and support to explore it more closely.
One of the most important things in therapy is whether you feel safe and have trust in the person you are talking to.
That is why many people begin with a first session, where we meet and sense whether it feels right to work together. Here, you can talk a little about what is taking up space for you and also get a sense of how I work.
The sessions take place in calm and safe surroundings in my clinic in Grønnegade in Copenhagen. A quiet space has been created here, with room for depth and presence.
Online sessions are also possible if that suits your everyday life better.
Many people choose to begin with sessions about once a week or every other week. Together, we find a rhythm that fits your situation and what you want to work with.
For some, a shorter process is enough, while others benefit from a longer process.
Therapy can give you a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns and your relationships. For many people, it means greater calm, clarity and the possibility of making choices that feel more right for them.
It is not always a quick solution, but a place where you can work with what is important in your life, at your own pace.
That is completely normal. Many people come to therapy without having a clear formulation of what they want to talk about.
Sometimes we simply begin with what is taking up space right now, a feeling, a situation or something in your life that is difficult to put into words. The conversation often develops from there.
You do not need to have everything under control in advance. The most important thing is simply that you show up.
APPROACH
There are many different approaches within therapy.
My approach is primarily rooted in Gestalt therapy, but it is also inspired by other therapeutic perspectives that share an interest in working with thoughts, feelings, the body and the relationships between people.
In Gestalt therapy, we work with what shows itself in the present, in your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and in the contact between us. Rather than only analysing problems, we try to become more aware of what is actually happening in you while we talk.
Many people experience that this way of working creates deeper contact with their own needs, reactions and boundaries.
At the same time, I am inspired by other therapeutic approaches that also emphasise presence, bodily awareness and relational work.
